Lamination

It’s likely that your table talker or tent card will be placed somewhere where it can be handled, like on a restaurant or bar table, providing menu options. If this is the case, it’s best to increase the longevity of your table talker’s lifespan by adding a lamination. Lamination is a technique where a secure layer of plastic or other thin material is bonded to the top of your custom printed table talker. This adds durability and makes it much less likely to rip or tear. We offer three main types of lamination to choose from:

Gloss

Gloss lamination provides a glossy, shiny finish. It adds considerable durability to your table talker and makes your colours ‘pop’ so is a great choice for a vibrant, colourful design. It’s cost effective – but the downside is that it will show up fingerprints more easily than other laminate finishes.

Matt

Matt is also cost-effective. It provides a subdued, elegant finish. This laminate is perfect for products and venues that are going for a classy, relaxed vibe.

Soft-touch

Soft-touch laminate is more expensive than its counterparts. It adds a luxurious velvety feel to your table talker – ideal if you’re promoting a luxury product or experience.

Foiling

Foiling is a technique whereby coloured foil is bonded to the surface of your table talker, providing a shiny, eye-catching design. This technique is best used to draw attention to important parts of your design, to make them stand out. For example, you could add coloured foil in a contrasting colour to highlight the name of the new product, or to draw attention to your company message, logo or other branding elements.

Spot UV

Much like foiling, this technique is best used to draw attention to important details. Spot UV provides a sheen, metal-like effect, offering a clear reflective strip of text or graphic. Once again, use this to highlight your company or product – we guarantee it’ll draw eyes! Whereas foiling offers a colourful and conventional highlight, Spot Uv has a futuristic look – ideal for forward thinking brands with innovative products.
