Proofing
We assume that the files you send us have been proofed by you and are ready for printing. This means you have checked the document for all spelling and grammatical errors, colour issues, layout and design BEFORE sending us your artwork. With this in mind you will not need to receive any further proofs from us. Although we will do our best to ensure that the files you send us are set up correctly, if you follow the guidance you should not have any issues.
Step 1. Before continuing with our artwork guide, take a look at our templates and select the appropriate template for your design. All templates are free and downloadable for your convenience.
Step 2. Set your design software to CMYK as opposed to RGB – this will ensure the colours print exactly as you create them.
Step 3. Set up a bleed area of at least 3mm around the outside of your design, and make sure no crucial design elements will cross this line. This will ensure nothing important is lost during the print process!
Step 4. Design away! Should you need some ideas, take a look at our design tips and our gallery of previous designs. Don’t forget – you’ll need different designs for all the panels! If you’ve chosen a tent card, you’re welcome to create a design for the base, but remember that it won’t be visible when on display, unless someone picks it up.
Step 5. Make sure any images, and the image as a whole design, are at least 300dpi to avoid any pixelated prints.
Step 6. Save as a non-editable PDF and upload at the checkout stage or ordering. Alternatively, you can email the design to Sales@TableTalkerPrinting.co.uk, or transfer via Dropbox or Wetransfer.
